Tech sector leads in U.K. jobs growth as skills shortage worsens

Data from the U.K.'s Recruitment & Employment Confederation indicates that the country's IT jobs market is experiencing a resurgence, with new permanent IT jobs leading eight other sectors for a second straight month in March. Analysts say that while the surge in new hiring may be a reversal of years of sluggish growth for the sector, British businesses continue to face a serious shortage of recruits with adequate tech skills in specialties including business intelligence, digital marketing and databasing.
