Why it's time to stop subsidizing e-vehicles

Electric cars are decades away from being truly price-competitive with gasoline vehicles and hybrids, absent hefty government subsidies, writes Bjørn Lomborg. That money would be better spent developing a bridge technology to shift away from the internal-combustion engine, Lomborg argues. "Someday, the electric car will, indeed, be a great product -- just not now," he writes.
