New York to boost health IT investment via $60M in grants

New York Gov. David Paterson said the state will distribute funding worth $60 million to groups that specialize in patient-focused medical homes, which coordinate care services from pharmacies, doctor practices, hospitals and other providers. The grants mark the third round of financing under the Healthcare Efficiency and Affordability Law for New Yorkers.
