60% of companies surveyed measure cost savings from CSR programs

Three in five employers measure their cost-savings from CSR programs, according to a survey conducted by Buck Consultants. More than three-quarters of those polled said they'd seen major reductions in electricity bills, and two-thirds reported savings in heating, cooling and paper expenses. Cost reduction was the top reason for implementing CSR programs at 78% of the companies polled.
