Experts from Western Pacific region seek to bolster use of devices

Industry experts from Australia, China and other countries in the Western Pacific region attended a three-day meeting in Hong Kong to develop ways to achieve optimal use of medical devices. "The goal is to ensure equitable access to safe and quality medical devices based on priority public health needs," said Henk Bekedam of the World Health Organization.
