Lawsuit accuses MySpace of sharing members' data without permission

MySpace is being sued on the grounds that it shared members' Internet browsing histories and other data with aggregators without asking for users' permission. The suit, for which class action status is sought, claims that the News Corp. unit shared the data, which can be used to identify members by name and tie to them to their browser histories, even though it tells members that they have the ability to control such information.
