Program offers recreation, support for individuals with special needs

A new recreational program is serving children and adults with special needs in the Pittsburgh area. The Providing Assistance, Love and Support -- or P.A.L.S. -- program is a joint venture between a group of parents and a local parks and recreation department to provide opportunities for socialization and athletics for individuals with disabilities, as well as support for their families.
