State broadcast groups meet with FCC chairman at NAB Show

FCC Chairman Julius Genachowski, at the NAB Show in Las Vegas, had a private meeting with about 40 broadcasters from 20 state associations to discuss the agency's plan to hold voluntary incentive auctions of broadcast spectrum. Both sides described the encounter as "positive." Among the issues reportedly brought to the chairman's attention were concerns over repacking and whether a completing accounting of available spectrum has been taken.
