Bill would widen access to Neb. wind power tax incentive

A bill introduced by Nebraska Sen. Heath Mello would improve a state program that offers a sales tax exemption on wind projects, writes state Sen. Ken Schilz. The bill would make the tax exemption more accessible, and allow wind power exports to count toward the qualification requirements, Schilz states. "This bill would improve our state's ability to be a major participant in the wind energy market and simultaneously provide tax relief to Nebraskans," he writes.
