FMI says COOL proposal is "unreasonably burdensome"

Proposed changes to country-of-origin labeling would place unfair burden on food retailers and wholesalers, FMI Regulatory Counsel Erik Lieberman says in comments to the USDA. "There are tens of millions of dollars in additional costs that will be incurred up and down the entire supply chain," he wrote.
