Real-time location-based mobile ads are set for growth spurt

Real-time bidding location-based mobile advertising is expected to increase from $688 million in 2012 to a projected $8.5 billion in 2017, according to Berg Insight. The firm says that it expects the marketplace to experience a compound annual growth rate of 65%. "Even without the cookie in mobile, geotargeting and mobile profiles are improving," writes Tyler Loechner.
