Massachusetts House approves gambling bill

The Massachusetts House voted 120-37 to expand gambling in the state, authorizing two resort casinos and slot machines at the state's four racetracks. The House plan would require a minimum investment of $500 million to build the resort casinos. The bill now heads to the Senate and may face opposition from Gov. Deval L. Patrick.
