Multivitamins in late pregnancy may increase prematurity risk

A British study found that a pregnant woman's risk for premature delivery triples with continued intake of prenatal multivitamins into the third trimester. "Eating a healthy diet is likely to be sufficient for expectant mums," a researcher said. Larger studies need to be conducted to validate these findings, the researchers said.
