Mother's little helper: The smartphone

About six in 10 mothers have smartphones, outpacing the general population, and they use their devices more often than the public as whole to access social media, games and health information, the sorts of services that help them manage their lives and their children. The study by parenting site BabyCenter also found 62% of mothers say they access the Internet regularly via mobile, nearly triple the rate from two years earlier.
