Honda built a Pinterest campaign around its CR-V model that created 16 million media impressions and 5,000 repins on the Pinterest network by contacting influential users of the social network and offering them $500 to take the day off from Pinterest and live out something they had pinned about. Participants were asked to upload images from their projects to Honda's Pinterest profile as well as to their own boards using the hashtag "Pintermission."
