Hyperlocal ads powered by mapping applications such as Waze could become an important mobile revenue stream, according to executives speaking at an All Things D conference. "If you can't attribute and track the value of the advertising, you can't get the money for it. If someone walks into the Taco Bell while they're en route (after seeing the ad via Waze), we are showing value," says Google executive Jason Spero.
