A team of masters students at Queen Mary, University of London, England, have built what they say is the world's first "solar copter." The device has four rotors and flies on solar power. "When the realization came that there were no solar-powered helicopters in existence, it seemed like a great engineering challenge to take on," the students wrote in a joint e-mail.
