Airbus, Boeing delays have Qatar Airways shopping for planes

Qatar Airways is tired of waiting for delivery dates to be met by Boeing and Airbus, this feature says, so the Middle East carrier has begun looking elsewhere for new planes. "Aircraft delivery will stifle the growth opportunities we have, especially the Middle East carriers, which are bold enough to take the opportunity at this very difficult time in global economy to continue growing," said Qatar CEO Akbar Al Baker.
