PUSH Wellness offers cash incentives based on outcomes

Instead of using incentives for participation, PUSH Wellness pays cash to employees based on a PUSH score that factors in BMI, blood pressure, cholesterol, smoking and fitness. Employers must agree to offer at least a $50 per month incentive for employees, and one Chicago company that tested the idea got a 70% participation rate in three months, with employees losing 120 pounds.
