New Zealand marriage bill set for final passage

New Zealand's Parliament this week is expected to make the country the first in the Asia-Pacific region to allow same-sex couples to wed. Louisa Wall, an openly gay member of Parliament and the driving force behind the legislation, said, "For me, if two people love each other and marry and commit to each other for the rest of their lives, it should be something we all celebrate."
