PJ's Coffee of New Orleans plans to add 18 units in 2013

Louisiana-based PJ's Coffee of New Orleans has opened eight new units this year and plans to open 10 more by the year's end, including some in neighboring states, which is a first for the coffee franchise that has expanded by targeting nontraditional locations such as casinos, hotels and health care facilities. "We've worked ourselves outward over the past five years to the Gulf Coast. Arkansas presents the southern touch point for us heading into Middle America. You'll also see us head toward Texas and Atlanta," owner Paul Ballard said.
