The Executive Women’s Day conference hosted by the PGA Tour revealed that many high-powered, white-collar women were nervous about taking up golf with a client lest they perform poorly and embarrass themselves, but skipping out meant lost business and time to build key relationships. The admission of Condoleezza Rice and Darla Moore into Augusta National Golf Club may encourage these women to break into the male-dominated world of golfing as a way to boost business and their social influence.
