T-Mobile sales up after introducing iPhone

T-Mobile USA's launch of the iPhone gave the carrier "one of its biggest weekends in the history of the company," according to Chief Marketing Officer Mike Sievert, although he did not release specific numbers. Most customers signed up for the no-contract plan, which features low service fees but includes monthly payments to cover the unsubsidized cost of the handset.
