Vitamin D deficiency linked to C-section births

Study data from 253 women in Boston found those deficient in vitamin D were at a higher risk of delivering babies by cesarean section. The study found 28% of women with low levels of vitamin D had a cesarean delivery, compared with 14% of women with sufficient levels.
