Kim wins vote for top World Bank job

U.S. nominee Dr. Jim Yong Kim, a public health expert, president of Dartmouth College and a founder of Partners In Health, was named Monday as the next president of the World Bank. The vote came after a challenge by developing-world candidates, most prominently from Nigeria's finance minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
