Report: Few health care groups link EMRs with smart pumps

A KLAS report reveals that more than 50% of health care groups view integration with EMRs as a key factor in their future smart pump buying decisions. However, fewer than 10 U.S. health groups are working with their vendors to integrate smart pumps with their EMRs, and only 60% have deployed wireless systems, which hold the key to EMR connectivity, the survey notes.
