Wyo. county considers plan to loosen rule on wind turbines

Officials in Natrona County, Wyo., held a public hearing on a proposal to loosen the rules on wind turbines for some zoning districts in the county. Under the proposed rules tentatively approved by the county's planning commission, the maximum height for wind turbines would be increased from 45 feet to 60 feet. The proposed rule would not cover utility-scale projects.
