Alloy sees "complementary fit" with Digital Broadcasting buy

Alloy Digital has purchased Digital Broadcasting Group and named the video ad network's CEO, Chris Young, Alloy's new chief marketing officer. Alloy's assets include YouTube content-production giant Smosh, and DBG is behind online series such as "The Confession" and "The LeBrons," and works with 2,600 Web publishers. "It was really a complementary fit," says Alloy Digital CEO Matt Diamond.
