Amazon Appstore to broaden its global reach

Amazon plans to expand its Android Appstore from serving only the U.S., U.K., Germany, France, Italy, Spain and Japan to cover about 200 countries, including Australia, South Africa, Canada and several Latin American markets. Developers can submit application ideas in these markets, and the Appstore storefronts will officially open over the coming months, the company said.
