England launches review of teachers' contracts

England's education secretary, Michael Gove, has launched an independent review of teachers' contracts with a particular focus on "non-pay conditions of service". That includes clerical tasks, with some saying that, as a result of the review, teachers could be required to perform filing, photocopying and other tasks they currently are restricted from completing.
