The Office of Inspector General issued an updated self-disclosure protocol for providers who encounter possible instances of fraud and abuse under federal law. "Since the original publication [of the protocol], we identified areas where additional guidance would be beneficial to the healthcare community and would improve the efficient resolution of SDP matters," the agency said.
