Judge awards $1.2 million to Peregrine trustee

A bankruptcy court judge in Chicago on Wednesday granted Ira Bodenstein, the trustee liquidating Peregrine Financial Group, the $1.2 million in fees he requested. A group of commodity traders calling themselves the Commodity Customer Coalition had protested the amount of money involved. "We're going to keep objecting to this," said James Koutoulas, co-founder of the group.
