Most mobile searches seek restaurants, study says

The majority of searches on mobile applications and browsers are for restaurants, according to a new SinglePlatform study, and 75% of consumers often choose an eatery based on those searches. "When you take into consideration that 80% of consumers think it's important to see a menu before they dine at a restaurant, restaurants stand to tremendously benefit in managing their menus wherever consumers see them," said Wiley Cerilli, SinglePlatform's vice president and general manager.
