"Wonder Woman" tells the story of American superheroines

The documentary "Wonder Women! The Untold Story of American Superheroines” not only tells the story of Wonder Woman's popularity, but delves into "the relationship between the superheroine and the role of women." The story covers Greek mythology, feminist theory and politics, and features the thoughts of Lynda Carter, Gloria Steinem and Gail Simone, among others. The documentary premiered on PBS' "Independent Lens" on April 15.
