Georgia passes anti-illegal immigration bill; governor to sign it

The Georgia legislature has passed an anti-illegal immigration measure similar to Arizona's, and Gov. Nathan Deal is expected to sign it. The bill will allow local law enforcers to check the immigration status of those they arrest and will mandate the use of E-Verify -- by businesses with more than 10 employees -- to ensure prospective employees can work legally.
