Marketing is having a significant effect on SMB channel programs, says AMI-Partners. The major element is social media, which lets partners react faster and get their message out in a cost-effective manner. About 35% of SMB partners in the U.S. use social media to market services and products, and that number is expected to increase within the next 18 months, AMI says.
