Instagram marketing tips from Pepsi and Red Bull

A handful of brands -- notably PepsiCo and Red Bull -- are using Instagram as a marketing channel. The photo-sharing service is a lightweight way to connect with consumers through content sharing, contests, crowdsourcing and scavenger hunts, marketers say. "We use Instagram to humanize the brand and take people behind the curtains," PepsiCo digital chief Josh Karpf says.
