Research in Asia presents opportunity for collaboration

Asian countries are making major investments in life sciences, presenting an opportunity to improve scientific collaboration in the Asia-Pacific region, according to a study published in the journal Science. Universities can share complementary expertise and pursue higher-impact scientific research, and more flexible visa programs could bring about better international collaboration, the authors say.
