Bank of the West expands small-business lending by 245%

In the past three years, small-business lending has risen 245% at Bank of the West. In 2012, the bank made $1.1 billion in such loans. In the fourth quarter, the bank increased small-business lending by 50% and Small Business Administration loans by 20% compared with Q4 of 2011.
