CEO: American network outage shouldn't happen again

AMR Corp. CEO Thomas Horton says a network outage on Tuesday that shut down American Airlines' network should not happen again. He said the outage was not related to the merger with US Airways and the carrier understands the cause. "It was a unique event and we do not expect that to recur," Horton said.
