More grains, less gluten among 2013 food trends, RD says

Food trends this year include the growing popularity of gluten-free diets and an increase in the kinds of grains consumed, including quinoa, barley and wheat berries, registered dietitian Carol Dombrow writes. Also gaining traction are Greek yogurt, mini-meals and a general awareness of food and nutrition issues, Dombrow writes.
