CNN is aiming to offer more personality while retaining its nonpartisan status, Jeff Zucker, the network's new president, said during an appearance at the Atlanta Press Club. "Just because you're in the middle, does not give you the right to be boring," Zucker said. The network is also looking to make money in the digital space, possibly through content sponsorships, although it doesn't have "immediate plans" to do so, according to a representative.
