New Seasons is recognized for diverting waste

New Seasons Market, with 12 stores, has been recognized by Portland State University as a "zero-waste company," for diverting 92% of waste from landfills. "Earning a zero-waste rating recognizes years of hard work, commitment and the constant enthusiasm we have for reducing our environmental impact," President and CEO Wendy Collie said.
