New security feature helps protect Microsoft accounts

Microsoft is beefing up its security by introducing the option to enable two-factor authentication. If you choose to use this option, then you will have to enter an authentication code in addition to your username and password when logging into your account. This code can be sent to you via e-mail or text message or it can be generated by a smartphone application.
