TEDMED kicks off with talks about design and dreams

Applied Minds co-founder Danny Hillis, a professor of research medicine at the University of Southern California, followed with a discussion about how he applied traditional Ayurvedic medicine principles from India to neuroscience. Rafael Yuste talked about how his love of mountaineering intersected with the Brain Activity Map project.
