LinkedIn woos sponsors for groups

Social network LinkedIn is trying to build its ad base through the creation of sponsored user groups. Qwest Communications is the backer of SMB IT Connection, which is aimed at small to medium businesses and includes ads and editorial input from Bloomberg BusinessWeek, and Hewlett-Packard and Intel have teamed up for Small Biz Nation.
