Meteorite shower attracts a deluge of would-be collectors

Reports of a massive fireball in the Midwestern sky last week sent meteorite hunters on quest for celestial fragments that could have an aggregate value of as much as $1 million. "Something this big only happens once every few years. It will be like a gold rush," said an Arizona collector who was bound for the fields of Wisconsin.
