Food trucks inspire mobile retailers

Some entrepreneurial fashion retailers are taking their styles to the streets, with mobile boutiques modeled after the popular food-truck trend. Erin Sutherland bought a double-decker bus on Craigslist after being laid off during the recession, and launched Lodekka in October 2010. She and other mobile retailers say the ventures may be the first step toward eventually opening brick-and-mortar shops.
