Textron reports Q1 profit of $118 million

Textron reported a profit of $118 million for the first quarter, compared with $29 million in the same quarter in 2011. "The demand environment for our commercial aircraft and industrial products continued to improve, which reinforces our confidence in our outlook for the year," said CEO Scott Donnelly. Textron is the parent company of Cessna Aircraft and Bell Helicopter.
