CRC screening program could serve as national model

Delaware researchers said the state's colorectal cancer screening and treatment program raised testing rates and eliminated racial disparities in screening while saving money and lives. Researchers said the principles could be applied elsewhere. "This model is only helpful if we take the lessons from those laboratories to our own states and work with determined effort to fit them into our particular populations," they wrote.
